Photon Gallery and Kolektiva Institute are proud to announce that the selection process for Video in Progress 3 is completed. Out of 130 applications the jury (KOLEKTIVA) selected 45 videos from 40 worldwide artists and artist groups.

The selected artists are:

Before we launched the open call we already invited two artists to participate in the exhibition. These artists are Nilbar Gures (TR/A) and Aldo Giannotti (I/A) with Viktor Schaider (A) and their videos will be joined by the selected videos from our open call.

Due to a huge response we decided to widen our selection and split the exhibition in two parts. First part will consist of screening of 10 videos; second part will consist of a collection of videos in a form of an archive. The visitors will be able to choose which video they want to see for themselves.

The exhibition is scheduled for the end of September / beginning of October 2009 in Photon Gallery in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In December 2009 it will be presented in Parakino section of Laznia Contemporary Art Centre in Gdansk, Poland.
